Apparently so
On ticketweb, he's doing Maxwell's in Hoboken on the 11th of Feb. (on sale tomorrow)
and on ticketmaster he's playing at Irving Plaza on Feb. 10
those went on sale this morning.
(you have to type in 'plug' or '2007 plug awards'...doesn't come up when you type in his name). Basically from what I heard, all the other bands play about 15 minutes, some indie music awards are given out by david cross, and then Malkmus plays for about an hour. 10 bucks. nice.

oh man, i can't believe maxwells sold out that quickly.
none of you good folks would have any extra tickets they would be willing to sell, would you?
Offline
wow thats craziness! i wonder if tickets are still available for Irving Plaza.
actually, SM wasn't even listed for the Plug show until the morning tickets went on sale.
Maxwell's is super small though. What does it hold, like 200 people tops?

I don't know if any of you live near Hoboken, but I just called Tunes and they have some tickets left for the malkmus maxwells show. i think if you stopped by this afternoon you would be able to get a ticket.
thanks a lot terror twilight for the heads up about the ticketweb thing.

yeah, i just called my girlfriend who lives in hoboken and she is on her way there now to go pick up tickets. hopefully there will be some let, the guy i spoke to at the store five minutes ago said only about twenty remained.

you're very welcome:)
i just checked the ticketmaster site too, and there are actually tickets left for Irving plaza as well.
Offline
fortunately, i got my ticket. anyone happen to know the age policy at maxwell's? is it 18+ or 21+?

I got screwed today when I tried to buy tickets from TicketWeb today at noon (and so did anyone else who tried). Tunes in Hoboken had tickets but I don't get out of work until 8 p.m. and by that time, they were all gone.
So, if anyone has extra tickets (two, but I'd take one, screw my friend at this point) for a fellow Jick enthusiast, please let me know. Private message me or respond to this post. Many thanks in advance.
